All About Pricing of a Portfolio Shoot

Pricing Answers

The portfolio photo shoot pricing is very simple:

A deposit of $200 is required to confirm the booking. This amount can be paid by PayPal, MasterCard, BankCard or Direct Fund Transfer. You will get the important account information when the booking is confirmed.
This amount ($200) will be deducted from the final price of selected fully edited images. In effect this gives you 8 prepaid fully edited images at the cost of $25 per image. This is done through a coupon code you will be provided with and you will have to enter at the completion of your on-line order.
50% 0f the booking deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client (you), but the booking can be postponed up to two times to another booking slot within 3 months without loosing the deposit.
Final photo-edited high resolution image (standard fashion/glamour editing) costs $25.
If you are refered to us by one of the approved modeling agencies/agents, your discount code will include cost of 4 additional images (value $100).
In summary: $200 is giving you 8 fully edited high resolution images for your folio (or 12 if refered by an agent).
Please note that you will have to request the agent/agency to e-mail the shoot request/confirmation/reference to info@srdjan.com.au (only saying that the agent sent you to us is not sufficient to get the discount).
Make-up, if required, is additional extra and can be arranged by yourself, or by us. Our makeup artists prices are: $70 per hour. Touch ups are negotiable depending on time, for additional $30 an hour.

Shoot

Some more information you will usually want to know about the shoot:

Folio shoot styling and location will be discussed up front if needed.
A shoot session will take about 3-4 hours including about 1-2 hours of hair and makeup styling.
Usually during this session there will be about 3 to 4 different styles (outfits) shot. Depending on a type of folio and your modelling aspirations, you will be required to select different outfits (fashion, swimwear, lingerie). This will also be a topic of the up front discussion/planning.
You can also organise a warderobe stylist or request one. This will be discussed separately.
There may be some important unexpected events that may prevent you from attending a booked shoot. It is fine to call and cancel in a case of emergency even a couple of minutes before the booked time.

Image Order

Some more information you will usually want to ask about the order:

Your proof images will be put up for selection on the PhotoShelter web site. You will receive an e-mail with the link and access instructions.
The web site has extensive image selection, filtering and ordering features, and it is easy to follow. You can use the LightBox feature to narrow your selection and rate your images. However you MUST complete the order process for me to receive the list of images you have selected for your folio. To ensure there is no confusion about selected images, only the ‘official orders’ though the web site will be accepted.
If you have difficulty narrowing down your selection, I am happy to help you with suggestions what to look for in images.
You can order as many images as you wish from the web site. The discount will be applied at the end of the ordering process.
You will not be able to download images from the site. This is more to ensure you display only high quality selected images in your folio.
Please refrain from taking a screen snapshot with the phone camera or using screen snapshot software. Quality of so obtained images will certainly be less than optimal, and you will not receive any edited images if that happens.
Final images are supplied in high quality jpg format (3600 pixels on a longer side) so they are printable in high resolution up to 8″ x 12″ size. If you require any other size for your folio, let us know up front.
Delivery of high resolution images can be arranged via e-mail, internet download, on a CD/DVD or on a USB memory stick. Preferred delivery method is by e-mail thorough a YouSendIt large file delivery service.
You are encouraged to safely store the delivered file (USB, CD) and crate at least one additional backup.

Additional Services

I do provide a range of photography and design related services at additional cost. Some of them are:

photo editing of additional images after the first order – the originals of all proofs you see on PhotoShelter are archived and you can go back and select additional images (for the specified price). They will be edited and sent to you within 30 days of the actual order.
Z-Card or Composite Card or Comp Card – for $50 you can get print ready artwork (PDF) for a 5″x7″ double sided composite card with the selection of shoot images. Please check with your agency first, as they may prefer their own Z-Card design with their own logo. See some examples below.
Business Card – for $30 you can also get a print ready artwork for a double sided standard size (55mm x 90mm) business card.
Photo shoots for magazine and competition submissions – please ask, as I do offer full range of services, but as these are highly customised, a direct communication is needed to plan and execute.
